Youth Pride Inc.’s mission is to meet the unique and ongoing needs of youth and young adults impacted by sexual orientation and gender identity/expression through advocacy, support, and empowerment to bring about social change.
We are seeking a Fee for Service Clinician for our drop-in center on Tuesday evenings from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. The Fee for Service Clinicians report to the Director of Programs & Operations. Fee for Service Clinicians are responsible for: • Providing counseling services one-on-one with youth who access our drop-in center• Writing case notes and tracking participant utilization for grants, funders, and organizational reporting• Supervision of social work or counseling interns, as needed• Other duties as assigned
• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field• Licensed in Rhode Island as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT• Experience working with a diverse population of youth• Culturally-informed competency towards individuals identifying as LGBTQQ required• Experience working with trans/gender non-conforming youth preferred• Experience providing outpatient behavioral health treatment services required• Successful candidate must pass a background check• Bilingual in Spanish preferred
